One of my favorite hobbies is to write down "aphorisms" in my note book. i write them down for several reasons. one of them is that it actually influences one to move along with his/her life and not just stay clueless or fall apart when he/shes facing crises . another reason , its just beautiful and deep . am going to write down some of the "aphorisms" that i have in my note book and some poetic lines (its all quotes , but i dont know some of the names of those who wrote them, so if u do please notify me).
Mark Twain:
“It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.”
“The more things are forbidden, the more popular they become.”
“Every one is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.”
“All good things arrive unto them that wait - and don’t die in the meantime”
“When I was younger I could remember anything, whether it happened or not.”
“When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.”

WOW! i have a book too, which i collect quotes with.. my favourite one of all time is "shoot for the moon, if you miss atleast you'll land among the stars".. by the way your selection was great.. love the post.. Keep up the good work..

I like that Rocky movie one because I like the song that it came from "Eye of the Tiger" :P
And also the one that was taken from the song 'I Hope You Dance" :D
Mark Twain's one is good and I try to apply that as much as I can, that is why I don't talk much and if I did I only say wisdoms :P
