Last time I went to ghabga, I haven’t recognized many of my old school friends, they all looked like super stars, every thing looked so perfect yet weird , there is something unnatural about it, so I asked my favorite friend which is also a limelighter, "haven’t you noticed something weird about their features?" , "duuuhhhh!!! Tajmeeeel" she quickly replied.

I've noticed lately that having a plastic surgery, be it a nose job, boob job, liposuction, Botox or whatever, is just a "normal" process to go under these days… no "gasps" as it used to be 10 years ago when we hear about some women getting their faces lifted and have absolutely no fears of going through the pain and under the knife, just to look perfect or "10" as the doctors call it.

Every age has its beauty, you want to remove the wrinkles? You think their hideous? Well tell you what? They're making you even more beautiful, each wrinkle is telling a story of your life, your victories, you achievements your good times and bad, and by removing them your erasing your history! Your erasing your identity… yourself

What's pissing me off is it seems that its contagious, since men aren't very happy with their looks either and they're going under the same process.


I am not against plastic surgery. I am against people who look perfectly fine getting their face cut up because they want to look like their favorite celebrity. It's only people who have, for example, have been in a car accident and had their face shattered, or people who were born naturally deformed. There are too many burn victims and children who truly need this kind of surgery, not for a 50 years old woman who wants to look like her 18 years old daughter.

Now imagine looking at yourself in the mirror and you see someone else (a stranger) till the rest of your life.
Needless to say that those plastic surgeries are making us all look alike!! They're erasing the ethnicities. No seriously think about it… if black can go white, and Chinese can go Caucasian and Latino goes Japanese… what a mess!!!! seriously people are looking like aliens

I also think that most of the cases (those who think they need some plastic procedure done) are psychological cases, they need to see a shrink first, take some make up courses, go on a diet, join a gym know what to wear, get the perfect hair cut . try all that if it didn’t work then maybe you should consider it.
But the question is, do you really want to be a "lie"?!

Let's assume that they resorted to infidelity to satisfy certain urges or fill this gaping void in their otherwise trivial and unsatisfied lives. can you imagine the percentage of those men with problems? could it possibly be? or is it just another lame excuse like an "outlet" or "a fix"?

Features

.

The mountain's highest point is at Maclear's Beacon, named for a stone cairn built there in 1865 by Sir Thomas Maclear for trigonometrical survey. It is 1,086 m (3,563 ft) above sea level and is the highest point of the plateau at the summit, about 19 m above the cable station.
Most major features of the mountain are named. The cliff immediately below the cable station is called Arrow Buttress and the area at the opposite end of the main cliff is called "Ledges". About a third of the way along from Arrow Buttress is a deep and partially hidden ravine called Platteklip Gorge (lit. "Flat Stone Gorge"), which provides an easy ascent to the summit and was the route taken by Antonio de Saldanha on the first recorded ascent of the mountain (see History). A famous and dangerous feature is Carrell's ledge, which winds its narrow way across the face of a vast and sheer drop to the south of Devil's Peak. At one point the ledge is less than 200 mm wide.
Table Mountain is in the unique position of being the only terrestrial feature to give its name to a constellation — Mensa, meaning The Table. The constellation is seen in the Southern Hemisphere, below Orion, around midnight in mid-July. It was named by the French astronomer Nicolas de Lacaille during his stay at the Cape in the mid eighteenth century.

The Table Mountain Cableway takes passengers from the lower cable station on Tafelberg Road, about 302 m above sea level, to the plateau at the top of the mountain. The upper cable station offers views overlooking Cape Town, Table Bay and Robben Island to the north, and the Atlantic seaboard to the west and south.
Construction of the cableway was first started in 1926, and the cableway was officially opened in 1929. In 1997, the cableway was extensively upgraded, and new cars were introduced carrying 65 instead of 25 passengers. The new cars gave a faster journey to the summit, and could rotate through 360 degrees during the ascent or descent, giving a panoramic view over the city.
Apart from the views, there are also curio shops, a restaurant and walking trails for visitors at the top of the mountain.

Activities

Hiking
Hiking on Table Mountain is popular amongst locals and tourists, and a number of trails of varying difficulty are available. Because of the steep cliffs around the summit, direct ascent from the city side is difficult. Longer routes to the summit go via the Back Table, a lower area of Table Mountain south of the main plateau. There are paths to the Back Table from both the Atlantic and Southern Suburbs sides, and from there a number of paths make a gradual ascent to the summit.

Nursery Ravine
Pipe Track

Rock climbing
Rock climbing on Table Mountain is a very popular pastime. There are well-documented climbing routes of varying degrees of difficulty up the many faces of the mountain. Only traditional climbing is allowed on Table Mountain; no bolting can be done. Commercial groups offer abseiling from the upper cable station.
Caving
Most of the world's important caves occur in limestone but Table Mountain is famous amongst speleologists for having several large cave systems that have formed in pure sandstone. The biggest systems are located on the Back Table, not far from the Jeep Track in ridges that overlook Orange Ravine and Hout Bay. These are often referred to as the Wynberg caves.

Watching T.V was never my thing and especially not in ramadan, but i must admit I am hooked to three T.V shows this year… "6ash ma 6ash", "alfiryah" and "abna' alrasheed: alameen wa alma'moon", the last is one of my favorites so far... watching it made me curious to read more about their story an compare the events in the books with those in the show ... in this post i'm going to write a brief "simplified" history of the Abbasid era.. i found a lot of contradictions between three books so i'm just going to write what i think was the real story.

بتولى الرشيد الحكم بدأ عصر زاهر كان واسطة العقد في تاريخ الدولة العباسية التي دامت أكثر من خمسة قرون، ارتقت فيه العلوم، وسمت الفنون والآداب، وعمَّ الرخاء ربوع الدولةالاسلامية.ويزداد إعجابك بالرشيد حين تعلم أنه أمسك بزمام هذه الدولة وهو في نحو الخامسة والعشرين من عمره، فأخذ بيدها إلى ما أبهر الناس من مجدها وقوتها وازدهار حضارتها. وأنشاء بمايعرف ببيت الحكمة وزودها بأعداد كبيرة من الكتب والمؤلفات من مختلف بقاع الأرض .وكانت تضم غرفًا عديدة تمتد بينها أروقة طويلة، وخُصصت بعضها للكتب، وبعضها للمحاضرات، وبعضها الآخر للناسخين والمترجمين والمجلدين.وغدت بغداد قبلة طلاب العلم من جميع البلاد، يرحلون إليها حيث كبار الفقهاء والمحدثين والقراء واللغويين، وكانت المساجد الجامعة تحتضن دروسهم وحلقاتهم العلمية التي كان كثير منها أشبه بالمدارس العليا، من حيث غزارة العلم، ودقة التخصص، وحرية الرأى والمناقشة، وثراء الجدل والحوار. كما جذبت المدينة الأطباء والمهندسين وسائر الصناع.وكان الرشيد نفسه يميل إلى أهل الأدب والفقه والعلم، حتى ذاع صيت الرشيد وطبق الآفاق ذكره، وأرسلت بلاد الهند والصين وأوروبا رسلها إلى بلاطه تخطب وده، وتطلب صداقته

الرشيد والبرامكة

ترجع اصول البرامكة إلى برمك المجوسي، وقد كان للبرامكة منزلة عاليه واستحوذوا على الكثير من المناصب في الدولة العباسية وكان لهم حضور كبير في بلاط الخليفة العباسي هارون الرشيد، الذي ارضعته زوجة يحيى بن خالد البرمكي الذي حفظ لهارون الرشيد ولاية العهد بعد ان اراد الخليفة الهادي بخلع هارون الرشيد..
أحاط الرشيد نفسه بكبار القادة والرجال من ذوي القدرة والكفاءة وخاصةً من البرامكة أمثال يحيى بن خالد البرمكي حتى حدث نزاع بين الخليفة الرشيد والبرامكة ونتج عن ذلك أن الرشيد حبس البرامكة وعلى رأسهم كبيرهم وأميرهم يحي بن خالد البرمكي.
نكبة البرامكة مصطلح يشير إلى ما وقع للبرامكة على يد الخليفة العباسي هارون الرشيد من قتل وتشريد، ومصادرة أموال، وقد كانوا وزراء الدولة وأصحاب الأمر والسلطان.و النكبة من أهم الأحداث السياسية المؤثرة في حكم هارون الرشيد، وفي التاريخ السياسي الإسلامي بشكل عام، إذ أنها كانت حلقة في سلسلة نكبات طالت وزراء الدولة العباسية منذ قتل أبي مسلم الخراساني بتدبير الخليفة أبو جعفر المنصور، وقتل معظم المقربين من الخلفاء العباسيين، كآل سهل فيما بعد.أيضاً، كان للنكبة أثر كبير، من حيث توصيفها للعلاقة بين العرب والفرس في السلطان..
