Modern Rich Kuwait !
*Seriously the situation of water shortages in kuwait is way out of hand, some body gotta do something ! .. they say the oil revenues this year has exceeded its average limit... now i dont get it ?? why do one of the richest countries in the whole world has electricity outages and water shortages ?!
today i had to use pots to shower !!!! just like back in the invasion days ! using numerous buckets of water to wash my hair and brush my teeth, needless to say it took me ages to finish and the water was so cold =( ...

* i went to Al Ameeri Hospital today to visit one of my grandma's friends , i havent been there for 4 years . i must say i've noticed a huge difference, they've changed the floor's Ceramic and it looked more like marble, the windows now are bigger and wider so that you could see the sea view , the Toilets are provided with Handicap facilities and when i asked about those changes i've been told that its all from donations... i was really happy to know that kuwaitis are starting to help out to improve our hospitals levels ... Kathar Allah kheirhum. i so wanted to take a picture of it but i have left my mobile in the car !
and just for the record, Al ameri and Mubarak hospitals were the last hospitals built by the government in kuwait , the rest "new" hospitals with fancy "Armani" "Etro" and "Fendi" rooms are all Private ones.
now my Question is, what does the government exactly do with the oil revenues?!
*SIDE NOTE:
talking about Fancy bed rooms, one of my friends just came from Milan a.k.a Milano and she highly recommends Bvlgari
and here i would like to mention some of the names that have attributed to improve our medical sevices in kuwait

As much as its really gr8 that ppl are donating , it makes me sad ! what if they didnt ? we wouldnt have the cancer n kids specialized hospitals or what?

I, too, was visiting at one of the wards at Amiri Hospital on Friday. While there, I asked a nurse if there was a doctor on call at the ward. To my dismay, she said that on Thursdays and Fridays, the doctors do their rounds and then go home leaving the ward without a single doctor even in case of an emergency.
But, yes, thank God, Kuwait is better than some other countries like...hmm..like...yeah, maybe like Kenya.
